When we are talking about negotiation. It will talk about the result. How is the result? Is there anybody fell unhappy? Sometimes in the result of negotiation, there is one part feel unhappy on decision. That’s why need to know about the “Win-win Solution”. What is the meaning of “win-win solution”? This is a term in negotiation. Actually, the right thing for the result of negotiation is win-win solution. So there is no one feel unhappy. All parties can get what they want.
Generally, we know that negotiation is the effort to bring about agreement between two or more parties with all parties having the right to veto. From this definition, there are two important points.
First, negotiation is an “effort” to bring about agreement. Thus, it takes work; it is not an automatic process. There are at least two or more parties who have their own desired outcome and the effort is to find a way to gain what it is you want in the negotiation.
The other important point is that all parties have the “right to veto.” This simply means that all parties involved in the negotiation have the right to opt out and not move ahead if they are not comfortable.
This is a very important principle. So, when you do negotiation, all parties must be involved and each part should give own desired outcome, so that can get decision to all parties well.
